It is our pleasure to invite you to the 5th International Course on Perforator Flaps, which will be held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, between 17-18 of October 2025, at The Simulation and Practical Skills Center of Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This is the fifth perforator flap dissection in live animal model course held by the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Cluj-Napoca, in association with the University of Medicine and Pharmacy ”Iuliu Hațieganu” Cluj-Napoca and endorsed by the World Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery. This intensive 2-day course is aimed at interested Plastic Surgery trainee surgeons. The aim is to familiarize and gain confidence in dissecting the most important perforator flaps used in reconstructive surgery. Candidates will work in pairs of two, and each pair will be assigned one animal/day. The trainees will have ample opportunity to individually dissect each flap under excellent supervision from our faculty.
